A Fun Day in Durango...and The Latest Contest Winner!

Greetings, friends!

Well, today was a very long but very fun day. My fab vegan cousin and soul sissy, Stacey, is in town and we went to Durango for the day, along with my daughter. First was the farmer's market where I bought some of the happiest parsley I've ever come across. Tabouli? Yes, thank you. Next was a food demonstration at Nature's Oasis, one of my all-time favorite health food utopias. I made "Rawberry Star Bars" from my newest book, The Two-Week Wellness Solution. I got to meet a lot of wonderful people, including a woman who completed my two-week plan. Boy, did she look fantastic! Healthy and glowing, thanks to all of her hard work.

Next was lunch. We ended up stopping over at Durango Natural Foods for some Grandma Chung goodness. I had the Green Chili Tofu (oh my holy stars was it good), some yummy beets, and kim chee. Yum! Finally, we did lots of shopping for our upcoming trip east. I stocked up on kombucha, organic fruit, and random goodies to keep us going on the road.

Which brings me to a point...I'm wondering if you would find it interesting to see what I do to stay healthy while traveling. It's always a challenge to stay optimally healthy on the road, even for those who make health a priority. So, I've been plotting and planning on how I'll do that while I'm busy with book tour events, visiting family, and meeting up with old friends (sometimes in restaurants). The thought occurred to me to use this blog as a way to share any tips and ideas on how to thrive while busy and traveling. Whaddya think? If you like that idea, let me know!

All right, dear ones, let's finally get down to the business of announcing the latest contest winner. You've been patient and now you deserve to know the facts.

The winner is....Noelle! Congratulations, Noelle. You have won a signed copy of my latest book, as well as a one-hour coaching session. And by the way, let me know where you are in Michigan. I'll be traveling through there on my book tour and could possibly hand it to you in person. Fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by, everyone. Have a great weekend! xoxo
