    Ooh, Tess, your forward in the new book is by Dr. Barnard-that's nice. He's the reason I avoid meat. And that I'm trying to become vegan (smile)...

  7. Putting spinach in smoothies. I've been trying to have a smoothie every morning of whatever organic fruit is currently in season and a couple handfuls of spinach. I feel fantastic and my skin has never been better!

    Best weight loss advice? Eat foods in as close a state as they are found in nature, with minimal processing, if any.

  12. Take time everyday to say something you love about yourself! Also, throw out the scales! I know I have lost about 40lbs since becoming vegan but I don't know exactly how much. I am not stressing about my weight anymore! I am much more concerned about being healthy!

  14. The best health advice was to stop eating flour or sugar (of any kind.) It has changed my life completely! Also, getting regular sleep and making small changes - taking things as a transition and being happy with the progress.

  15. The best advice I got early on, was to give up junk food, grease and sugar!! That's was the beginning, but a huge thing!
