Everything Nice Popcorn

This yummy, quick treat is a big hit with both kids and adults.

Everything Nice Popcorn

Cinnamon, vanilla, and sugar. Do I really have to say anything else?

4 teaspoons oil (coconut, sunflower, or non-virgin olive)
½ cup popcorn kernels
2 tablespoons each: non-hydrogenated margarine, agave nectar, and organic sugar
¼ teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon each: ground cinnamon and vanilla extract


1. Place a heavy pot with a tight fitting lid over medium-high heat. Add the popping oil and the popcorn. To prevent it from burning, you will want to shake the pot frequently. This will distribute the oil and keep the popcorn kernels from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Be sure to hold onto the lid with hot pads while you shake it! Continue to cook until the popping slows down to 1-2 seconds in between pops. Remove from heat.

2. In a small pan, melt the margarine. Stir in the agave, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla and mix well.

3. Drizzle the sweetness over the popped corn, using a rubber spatula to mix everything together well. That’s about all you need me for! Enjoy your bowl of delightful flavors—and I hope you like your movie.
